Student Charter

The Humber Recovery College Code of Conduct is really important and is in place to help promote equality, safety, fairness and respect within the College. The following rules are what we require of our students, with the understanding that you agree to follow them when you enrol with us:

 

Treat all students and staff with compassion, dignity and respect and to not discriminate against or harass others at any time, respecting their rights, life choices, beliefs and opinions.

To respect the wellbeing and property of others, and report any health and safety concerns you may notice

To attend courses and workshops punctually and inform the College if you are unable to attend

To take responsibility for your own learning and come to the courses and workshops equipped to participate and be appropriately dressed

 

To take an active part in your own learning and recovery journey using the resources made available to you

To communicate the information we need to support your enrolment, ongoing learning and wellbeing

To refrain from the use of alcohol and illicit substances whilst attending a Recovery College course or workshop

To refrain from bringing weapons of any kind to college courses or workshops

To understand that the materials and resources provided are purely for the  session being delivered (except handouts) and that items are not to be taken away for personal use or financial gain
