Local History Walking Tour


Due to this weeks rain forecast we are changing the date for the local history walking tour from Tuesday 25th June to Friday 28th June. The course start time, end time and venue all remain the same (10:00am - 11:00am outside the Deep, Hull).





Stress Busting Plants


Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances we are having to push back the original start date for the popular Recovery College course 'Stress Busting Plants' The new date for this course is  Wednesday  24th July, 10am - 1pm at Pearson Park Hull

Volunteer with Recovery College


We have a Drop-In Volunteer Information session (no need to enrol)  to answer questions face-to-face about being a Recovery College volunteer on:

The Humber NHS Voluntary Services Team organise volunteer placements which includes being a peer support /tutor volunteer within the Humber Recovery College.

The Humber Recovery & Wellbeing College will be touring Hull and East Riding answering questions and taking enrolments for our Summer term. We will also take enrolment forms via post and email from the Monday. All course places are given on a first-come, first-serve basis, so it’s a good idea to get your form in quickly!.

Summer Prospectus coming soon


Its that time of year again when the recovery college begins development of there new summer prospectus. We are putting together a wide variety of courses including some of he old favorites mixed with band new courses. Our new prospectus & courses will be available to view soon. Keep checking this page for further details on release dates and enrollment dates.



Recovery College courses ended


The Winter prospectus is now over which means there are no more courses until our eagerly anticipated summer prospectus is released in may.  We are still contactable on our main office number should you need to talk to us.



Mental Health Awareness                       COURSE EXPIRED


Mental Health Awareness or First Aid is a training program organised by the recovery college that teaches members of the public how to help a person developing a mental health problem. The session is taking place at Hessle Community Centre on the 04/03/2019. To book your place simply complete one of our enrolment forms which can be downloaded from this site.
















Health Expo 2019


The annual Hull and East Riding Health Expo will take place for the fourth time on Thursday 10th October, World Mental Health Day, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel on Ferensway, Hull.


Organised by local NHS and health providers from across the region, the event will celebrate local health services and raise awareness of World Mental Health Day.


Visitors will be able to meet health experts face to face, ask questions, get advice, and find out more about support available to you in the local area. The more adventurous will be able to take part in games and activities to get the blood pumping, and the highlight of the 2019 event will be a special focus on mental health.



Yoga therapy for Mental Health


Beneficial for Mental Health Issues including Anxiety, Chronic Stress and P.T.S.D. This class will focus on Breathing, Meditation and Relaxation Techniques to Promote the Para-Sympathetic Nervous System to Help Reduce the Physiological and Psychological Effects of Mental Health Conditions. The Practice of Yoga is Renowned for the Mental Health Benefits to help Focus Your Mind on the Present Moment, Release Tension, Promote Clarity and Reduce the Severity of Anxiety Attacks

Life and Loom


Life and Loom is a social and therapeutic weaving studio established by Fynn and Holly Hopper based in  Boulevard, Hull


Life and Loom offers meaningful work and enterprise skills to adults with additional needs including learning disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, mental health conditions and physical disabilities. The day workshop is skill-based and incorporates a holistic approach to hand craft.
