LAUREN SAUNDERS

--------------------------------

Recovery College Tutor

“At heart I’m a practicing visual artist but my working background is in supporting people with mental health difficulties in in-patient units delivering meaningful activity and having a lot of fun in the process! I’ve been doing that for a few years now and I find it very meaningful considering I also have my own lived experience and am on my own recovery journey. When I’m not arts and crafting, I love a bit of archery when I get the chance or seeing/experiencing new things but day-to-day it’s all about watching comedies and documentaries!
