We are launching the new Spring 2023 prospectus online from Thursday 9th February 2023. Through the prospectus, you will find every detail you need to know about the Recovery College and who we are. You will also find out all of the free and exclusive wellbeing sessions that we are offering around the Hull & East Riding community.

But first, we will be giving an exclusive look at the prospectus in-person at our enrolment days...

What is an enrolment day?

The launch day of the next term’s prospectus (running 20/02 – 19/05/2023).

Your Recovery College team will be set up at an accessible location with giveaways and handouts. It gives your Recovery College the opportunity to reveal the next term’s prospectus and walk through what is on offer for your mental wellbeing. Answer any questions, and talk about your journey so far all over a brew and a biscuit.

What is the Recovery College?

The Recovery College is an online platform designed to host courses, sessions and workshops based around improving mental wellbeing. This includes informal sessions like crafts, creativity, and sports, and more formal sessions like discussing coping strategies for anxiety and depression, or employability skills.

The Recovery College uses an educational model and a focus on lived experience and personal strengths to promote good mental wellbeing within the community. We also aim to challenge stigmas associated with mental health. Your college welcomes people from all walks of life and backgrounds, regardless of if they have mental health difficulties or not.

Students, tutors with lived-experience, mental health professionals, and more work together to design and deliver original, innovative sessions and courses. These sessions and courses are experiences designed to empower those who have an interest in keeping themselves mentally and physically well. Did I mention the sessions and courses are FREE?

What are the benefits of attending an enrolment day?

Students and prospective students alike can come down and find out first-hand what is going on in their Hull & East Riding community to support their mental health and wellbeing. Ask all the questions, see all the faces, and learn about all the opportunities. Walk away with a physical copy of our next prospectus to browse at your own pace.
